Gaetano Pesce’s solo exhibition moves from Shenzhen to Beijing

Today Art Museum stages “Gaetano Pesce: Nobody’s Perfect”, the solo exhibition of the Italian architect, designer and artist, from March 20th until June 30th 2022.

Visitors are transported into a colorful and whimsical world through nearly 100 unique works spanning more than half a century, including furniture, design products, architectural models, resin paintings, installations and video reproductions, and documentary materials. Among the works on display there is also the original wooden model of the UP5_6 armchair, designed for B&B Italia in 1969 and become the undisputed icon of contemporary design internationally. Outside, the UP5_6 armchair even becomes the symbol of this important exhibition: an XL version sculpture of the legendary “Big Mama” welcomes visitors at the entrance to the museum.
